Security at Live Life Happy
Last updated: May 26, 2026
This page is for anyone who cares about how safe their visit is. Quick version: this site is run by one person, on a small budget, and is built to ask for as little from you as possible.
How we keep your visit safe
- HTTPS everywhere. Every page on the site is served over an encrypted connection. Your browser will show a lock icon.
- No login, no accounts. You do not need to sign up to use anything here. There is no password to lose.
- Your saved quotes stay on your device. When you tap the heart on a quote, it is saved in your browser. We never see it. Clear your browser data and it is gone.
- No tracking we do not need. We run Google Analytics for visit counts and Google AdSense to keep the site free. That is all. No session replay. No fingerprinting tools.
- Cookie consent for EU and UK visitors. If you visit from a country that requires it, you will see a consent banner before any advertising cookies load.
What we do not collect
- We do not ask for your name unless you message us.
- We do not store payment information. There is nothing to buy.
- We do not run a forum, comments, or user uploads, so there is no user content to protect.
Found a security issue?
If you spot a security problem, please tell us. We will not get angry. We will fix it.
- Use the contact page and write "security" in the subject line.
- You can also find our machine-readable contact at
/.well-known/security.txt.
What we ask in return:
- Give us a reasonable chance to fix the issue before sharing it publicly.
- Do not run automated scanners that hammer the site.
- Do not access or change other people's data while testing.
We do not run a paid bug bounty, but a sincere thank you and a credit on this page is yours if you want it.
Privacy and data rights
The full breakdown of what we collect, why, and your rights under GDPR and CCPA lives on the privacy page.
