Welcome to Live Life Happy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Live Life Happy (the "Site," "we," "us," or "our"), owned and operated by Robert Tew. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using livelifehappy.com, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and that you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Copyright Policy. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be announced on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

3. Use of the Site

The Site provides inspirational quotes, articles, share images, and related content for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. You may:

• Read, share, and discuss content from the Site on social media, in personal communications, and in non-commercial contexts
• Download our share-image cards and use them in non-commercial personal posts, provided you do not remove the "livelifehappy.com" watermark
• Quote or link to articles, with proper credit to Live Life Happy

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any law
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, or systematically download substantial portions of the Site, except by search engines following our robots.txt file
• Republish substantial portions of the Site's content on another site or app without our written permission
• Use bots, automated scripts, or other tools to interact with the Site in ways that may degrade performance
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or related systems
• Interfere with the operation of the Site or any user's enjoyment of it
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Site
• Use the Site to transmit spam, viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Remove any copyright, watermark, or other proprietary notices from the Site
• Frame, embed, or use any framing techniques to enclose the Site's content without permission

Our content

The original written content of the Site (article text, reflections, design, layout, code, and curation), and all trademarks, logos, and graphics, are owned by Live Life Happy and protected by US and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The arrangement and selection of quotes on the Site is itself a creative work in which we hold rights.

Quotes

The quotes on this Site are short excerpts attributed in good faith to the people who said or wrote them. We do not claim copyright over the quotes themselves, and many are widely attributed in the public sphere. Where a quote is sourced from a copyrighted work, we believe the brief, attributed use on this Site qualifies as fair use under 17 U.S.C. § 107 for purposes of education, commentary, and noncommercial inspiration. If you are the copyright holder of a quote and believe it should be removed, please see our Copyright Policy for the takedown process.

License to you

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include any right to resell, redistribute, or systematically copy the Site or its content.

6. User-Submitted Content

If you send us a message, quote suggestion, story, comment, or any other content (collectively, "Submissions"), you grant Live Life Happy a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such Submissions in any medium. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights in your Submissions and that they do not violate any third party's rights.

We are not obligated to publish, use, or respond to any Submission.

7. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms of use. Your interactions with third-party sites are between you and the operator of that site.

8. Advertising

Quotes and articles are shared because we think they might inspire or comfort someone. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIVE LIFE HAPPY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, free of viruses, or that the content is accurate, complete, or current. Quotes are attributed in good faith but attributions on the internet are sometimes mistaken or disputed. We disclaim responsibility for any reliance on the accuracy of attributions.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LIVE LIFE HAPPY, ITS OWNER, OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR DAMAGE TO REPUTATION) ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Live Life Happy, its owner, affiliates, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice or cause. You may stop using the Site at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Site owner resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. The Site is operated from the United States.

15. Disputes and Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact us through the contact page and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Most disputes can be resolved this way.

If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the state where the Site owner resides, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Class action waiver: To the extent permitted by law, you and Live Life Happy each agree to resolve any disputes only on an individual basis, and not as part of any class action, collective action, or representative action.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Copyright Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Live Life Happy regarding your use of the Site.
