Hi, I'm Robert Tew. This is a one person shop. No team. No big company behind the curtain. Just me. There are no sponsored posts, no affiliate links, and no products being pushed on you. Small Google AdSense ads keep the lights on. That is the only way this site earns. Anytime you see a box marked "Advertisement," that is AdSense. I don't pick the ads and I don't get paid more if you click one.

I want to be honest about something. For almost a decade, I handed this site off to other people so I could chase other passions. They were supposed to take care of it. They did not. The site went down more than once because they did not know what they were doing. Pages broke. Things got slow. I take full responsibility for that. I picked the people. I gave them the keys. The choice was mine.

So in 2026, I sat down and decided to start over. Not rebuild on top of what was there. Actually start from scratch and bring back what I started almost twenty years ago. That is the site you are looking at right now.

I want to be straight with you about this too. This is still a very part time thing for me. I rarely check in. Life is busy. But I am here, and I am not going anywhere. I will keep adding to it. I will keep making it better. My goal is simple. I want this to be the place you come when you need a few good words. A quiet spot on a noisy internet.

A few random things about me, in case you want to know who is on the other end of this. The photo over there was taken before a 5K I ran in Huarache running sandals. Back in high school in San Diego, I used to run barefoot on hot pavement in hundred degree weather. I would run miles to the basketball courts barefoot, play full games barefoot, and run back home the same way. I also used to collect magic tricks as a kid. Stacks of them. I do not know what any of this says about me. Maybe just that I like doing things the simple, old fashioned way.

The One Thing I'd Tell You

If you ever ask me what the most important thing I could share with you is, this is it. Act your energy, not your age. The number on your driver's license is not the rule. How you feel is the rule. If you feel like running, run. If you feel like dancing badly in your kitchen, do that too. If you feel like learning something new at sixty, go do it. Energy does not check your birthday.

Enjoy your life. Have fun. The whole point gets lost when you treat every day like a job. You only get one shot at today, so don't waste it being too serious.

It's okay to have regrets. Everyone has them. The trick is not to live in them. Look at them, learn what you can, and then keep moving. Flow into the next thing. There's so much to do. So much to see. So many people you haven't met yet and places you haven't been. That's the whole thing.
